Learn together……..
- Learn/play acoustic guitar
- Learn to play flute
Sing together…
- sing in a choir for enjoyment and some performances
- sing in a less formal “Singing for Fun ” group including those who think they don't have a singing voice (on some midweek evenings)
Play Together
- in the Jazz Orchestra
- With those who can play Electric guitars and Bass in a group for adults who meet to play together
Perform Together
- In “Tea with MBC”
- At the Duck races

What’s has been offered in the past?
The “ad hoc” choir on Launch Day
There were people, including school children, who already played an instrument but didn't have opportunities to play with others. We started an ensemble of woodwind and brass instruments but hoped in the future to facilitate the formation of other music groups and provide places where they can rehearse ......and opportunities for them to perform, for example :
- Guitar/rock groups/folk bands
- Strings
- Some people wanted to learn to play an instrument,
- We hoped we would encourage people to start to play and have already done this for guitar, accordion and flute. (And later fife and ukulele.
These were not a substitute for taking lessons with a professional music teacher but acted as a "taster" to show people that they enjoyed playing.
But ..........remember we couldn't promise to provide any specific thing
